Simhamukha Sand Mandala Demo by Rabkar Wangchuk. Simhamukha, Dakini (Tibetan: seng ge dong chen kha dro ma, English: the Dakini Having a Lion Face) along with two attendants; from the lineage of Bari Lotsawa.

About the Presenter
Rabkar Wangchuk, former monk and artist trained in tangka painting as well as other forms of traditional Tibetan Buddhist art, served as lead visual artist for nine years at the Tibetan Institute for Performing Arts (TIPA) in his birthplace of Dharamsala. At His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Temple, Wangchuk sculpted traditional Butter sculptures and three dimensional Mandalas. He also installed three Stupas in Dharamsala at the Norbulingka Institute, Tushita Retreat Center, and the Gyuto Monastery. Rabkar Wangchuk's goal in his painting is to bestow happiness at first sight and to realize and awaken a positive mind. The paintings fuse modern art with traditional Tibetan art by evoking healing from within, shifting the viewer's attention from worldly activity to reality, allowing the flow of nature's intelligence throughout the body to receive peace, harmony and happiness.
